Baby Namings
Congratulations and Mazal Tov!
A baby naming ceremony for a Jewish girl is one of the most rewarding parts of being a Cantor. It’s an opportunity for family to come together and celebrate the joy of welcoming a girl into the family.
The ceremony I do, much like the weddings I perform, are personalized. So I would incorporate into the ceremony who your daughter is being named after. I would speak about the special qualities and attributes of your loved ones and what you cherished in your relatives whose names will live on in your daughter.
I like to include the Bubbies to light the candles and the Zaidies to cut the Chalah.
You will get as part of the ceremony a beautiful baby naming certificate that I will prepare which is important for your daughter for when she has a Bat Mitzvah and one day gets married!
I will accommodate your venue of choice and have performed Jewish baby naming ceremonies at people's homes, restaurants, golf clubs, banquet halls.
A baby naming ceremony for Jewish girls is a wonderful way to celebrate the joy and love of welcoming a Jewish girl into your family. Jewish newborn ceremonies are one of my most favorite ceremonies to perform!
Hi Ben,
I just wanted to thank you for the beautiful ceremony. We were so happy with it! We also got tons of compliments on how well you ran your ceremony. My daughter was amazed by you, which helped keep her in a good mood. It was perfect! Wishing you all the best and thanks again!
Sincerely,
Joanna, Lorne, and Stevie
